Dorothea S. D'Agostino, 92, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015, at Conestoga View Nursing Home. Born in Philadelphia to the late Martin J. Sr. and Giovanna (LoRusso) Rizzi, she was the loving wife of the late Peter E. D'Agostino. Dorothea was a homemaker who devoted her time to her family. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, New Holland and enjoyed crafting, playing bingo, listening to Bobby Vinton and Frank Sinatra, and singing "Jesus Love Me." She is survived by seven children: Peter E. Jr.; Doreen J.; John C.; Donnamarie; Craig C.; Ernest G. D'Agostino; and Dorothea S. D'Agostino Landis, wife of Duane; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Zulli; and many nieces and nephews. Dorothea was preceded in death by her son, Philip M. D'Agostino; a sister, Mary Louise Tillery; and a brother, Martin J. Rizzi, Jr. Family and friends will be received from 6PM to 8PM, on Friday, October 9, 2015, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM, on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 226 French St., Hammonton, NJ 08037. A viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to Mass. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
