Doris M. Shinton, 59, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Langhorne Manor Health & Rehab, Langhorne, PA. Born in Lancaster, Doris was the daughter of the late Paul W. and Dorothy L. (Shuey) Shinton.

Of the Protestant Faith, Doris attended Grace Baptist Church, Rohrerstown. She was an employee for more than 20 years at Ephrata Area Rehab Services (EARS), where she was a parts sorter.

Doris was an avid sports fan, including the Phillies, Penn State, and the Cowboys. She also enjoyed listening to country music, was a dog lover at heart, and enjoyed spending time at the EARS Coffee Houses.

Doris is survived by her sister, Carol Welty, wife of Clyde, of York, and three nieces: Calina, Brittany, and Ashleigh Welty, all of York.
