Doris B. Harker, 92, of Landisville and formerly of Osprey, FL, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Oak Leaf Manor North. Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late John G. and Dorothy (Yarock) Brossman. Doris was the wife of the late Frank B. Harker, Jr., who died in 2002.

Doris was a 1950 graduate of Ephrata High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in education at Millersville College in 1954. Doris taught for ten years in Lancaster County and then substituted for many more years. Doris also worked at historic Mill Bridge Village and AAA.

Doris enjoyed traveling both domestically and internationally, traveling to western United States, the Canadian Rockies, Ireland, Germany, Austria, and other European countries. She also belonged to a card club in Lancaster. Doris found her greatest enjoyment in spending time with her family who she loved dearly.

Doris is survived by her children: Jeannette R. Longenecker, wife of Terry, of Lancaster, and Frank B. Harker III, husband of Kimberly, of Lancaster; grandchildren: Derek Longenecker, husband of Leann, Johnathan Harker, partner of Rebecca Foltz, Sara Maldonado, wife of Jason, and Samantha Harker; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 siblings. She was preceded in death by 3 siblings.

Memorial Services for Doris will be held at 11AM, Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.
