Doris Mae (Edwards) Boyer, 91, of Lancaster, passed away at her home on Saturday, March 5, 2022. She was the loving wife of the late Charles W. Boyer, who passed in 2018 after 66 years of marriage. Born on November 24, 1930 in Philadelphia, Doris was the daughter of the late Charles Francis and Violet E. (Prescott) Edwards. She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles W. Boyer, Jr. Doris was an active member of Son Light Bible Church and participated in the Church Choir. She was also dedicated to service and volunteered with Meals on Wheels for over 20 years. Doris is survived by a son, Rodney W. Boyer (husband of Karen); her grandchildren, Adam Boyer (husband of Laura), and Amanda Nicoladse (wife of Vincent); her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Nicoladse; and her daughter-in-law, Jean Boyer A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Long Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery at 2660 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
