Doris A. Davis, 73, of 815 Olde Hickory Rd., Lancaster, died Tuesday at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Blue Creek, West Virginia, she was the wife of Harold H. Davis.

Doris was a homemaker. She also helped with the bookkeeping at her husband's contracting company. Mrs. Davis enjoyed swimming, Scrabble, horse racing, and going to Universal Health Club with her friends. She was a member of a monthly card club and an avid reader.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children: Vicki, wife of Doug Frymyer of Lititz, Glen, husband of Diane Davis of Lancaster, Larry Davis of Lititz, Patricia, wife of Neal Ressler of Leola, Franklin, husband of Jennifer Davis of Reamstown, and Karen, wife of Todd Bruteyn of Texas; her grandchildren: Brian, Julie, Marc, Hannah, Erica, Michelle, Christen, Neal, Jr., John, Nicole, Zachary, and Michael. She is also survived by her brother, William Jr. and sister, Delphie. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen and Betty.
