Doris Jean Batturs, 82, of Moravian Manor, formerly of Lebanon passed away peacefully Monday, July 11, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lebanon, PA she was the daughter of the late Albanus R. and Marian M. (Haas) Ryland. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph E. Batturs who passed away March 13, 2010. She attended schools in Lebanon and also the former Millersville State Teachers college. Doris enjoyed reading, doing puzzles but most of all loved her family and cherished her time with them. She lived her life with integrity and grace. She is survived by her children: Sheila Miller wife of Richard of Lancaster, Peggy Bentz wife of Ronald, Jeanne Weaver, David Batturs all of Lititz and Jonathan Batturs of Lebanon. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Renee, Ryan, Jennifer, Chanel, Tatiana, four great-grandchildren, three step grandsons, and her sisters, Marian Batz, Patricia Shott both of Lebanon, and brothers, Albanus Ryland of Hampton, NJ and Charles Ryland of Lebanon. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Doris's memory to the Moravian Manor Benevolent Fund, 300 W. Lemon St, Lititz, PA 17543.
