Doreen S. Brady, 75, of East Petersburg, PA, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center.  Born in Plymouth, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kathleen (Petcavage) and John Kasenchak.  Doreen was the wife of Joseph Brady; together they celebrated 53 years of marriage on May 10, 2011.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are five sons, Michael Brady, husband of Karen, Patrick Brady, husband of Karen, Scott Brady, husband of Heidi, Alan Brady and Kevin Brady.  Doreen was a proud grandmother of eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her companion and best friend, Hobo (a rescue dog), he will miss her greatly.  Doreen was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Kasenchak.

The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at the Intermediate Intensive Care Unit at Lancaster General Hospital on 6 ^th North for their care and compassion for Doreen.

Doreen was a member of St. Philip the Apostle.  She worked 18 years at Lawn Equipment Parts Company as an office supervisor, retiring in 1998.  She enjoyed playing bingo, cross-stitching and was a huge Phillies Fan.  She was also an animal lover.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603 with Rev. Mark E.
