Donna Gilbert Eckert (81 years) passed away on October 5, 2023. Born in Lancaster, PA, the only child of Ellis and Irene (Steyer) Gilbert, she graduated from Manheim Township High School. She received BS, Masters, and Reading Specialist degrees from Millersville State College. She attended First United Methodist Church of Lancaster and taught for the School District of Lancaster for over twenty-five years. In addition to her husband, Terry L. Eckert, she is survived by her daughters; Tanya L. Eckert (Brett A. Budis) of Syracuse, NY; and Tara L. Eckert (Darrel E. Herbst, Jr.) of Penn Valley, PA; and grandchildren; Theo J. Eckert-Budis and Barlow E. Herbst. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
