Donald J. Mohr Sr., 70 of Lancaster died Monday at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Melvin H. and Dorothy A. Braungard Mohr. He would have been married 50 years in August to Gertrude Buckwalter Mohr. Mr. Mohr was a Lancaster City Fire Fighter for 29 years and retired in 1989. After retirement, he worked as an electrician at Lapp Electric. His memberships included St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and a member of International Association of Fire Fighters Local 319.

Surviving besides his wife is a daughter: Christine wife of Randall L. Maitland of Indiana, three sons: Mark S. husband of Donna Mohr of Gap, Donald J. Mohr Jr. of Lancaster, Michael W. husband of Charlene Mohr, of Mt. Nebo, eight grandchildren: Melissa, Jennifer, Randall Jr., Anne, Yvonne, Ethan, Luke, Isaac, and three great grandchildren.. He was preceded in death by a son  David T. Mohr.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St Joseph Street, Lancaster, Pa on Friday at 10:00am with interment to follow at St Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, Pa. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Friday Morning from 9-10:00am. Please omit flowers, contributions  may be made in Donald's memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph Street, Lancaster, Pa. 17603  or St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church,  501 E.
