Donald J. Misselhorn, 93, of Lancaster passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at LGH after a brief illness. Born in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of the late Hans and Elsbeth (Kranzfelder) Misselhorn. He was the loving husband of Doris (Leary) Misselhorn who passed away in 2017.

Don proudly served in the US Army with the 2nd Armor division in Germany.

He received his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Don worked at Armstrong World Industries for his entire career as a chemical engineer.

Don was the 1st Boy Scout in Wisconsin to earn his ski badge. He was an avid outdoor sportsman that enjoyed fishing, going on hunting trips to Wyoming & Montana, and spending time at his camp in Cherry Springs, PA. In retirement he enjoyed skiing all over the country and Canada. He was a member of the Lancaster Ski Club. He built and maintained the family home and loved spending most of his time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, David Misselhorn husband of Kelly of Plano, TX; two daughters, Anne Conant wife of Frank of Landisville, PA and Susan Salvitti wife of Gino of New Freedom, PA. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Olivia, Akira, Jessica, Heather, Madison, Michella, several great-grandchildren and daughter in law, Angela. He was preceded in death by his son, John Misselhorn.

Private Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
