Donald E. Marlett, 84, of Lititz, passed away, Monday, March 2, 2009 at Hospice of Lancaster Essa Flory Center. Born in Rochester, NY, he was the son of the late Earl and Gertrude (Jewett) Marlett. He was the husband of Marion Aultman.

Donald served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a self employed tire broker. Donald and Marion were world class bridge players, playing all over the country. He also enjoyed music and dancing.

Surviving in addition to his wife Marion are 3 sons; Donald Marlett husband of Gloria of Rochester, NY, Paul Marlett husband of Judy of Conestoga, and James Marlett husband of Marlene of Holtwood, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, a brother, Carl Marlett, and a sister, Lois Schmaltz.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 6, 2009 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz Pa 17543 at 11 a.m. Family and Friends will be received before the service at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow at Landis Valley Mennonite Cemetery.
