Donald W. Lloyd, 65, of 10 Turnbridge Dr., Lancaster, died Monday,  October 16, 2006, in York County.

He was the husband of Margaret "Bertie" A. Cleary Lloyd, with whom he celebrated their 26 ^th wedding anniversary this past December 14 ^th . Born in Kingston, PA, Don was the son of the late George and Margaret Moore Lloyd.

Donald had worked as a truck driver for Oehme Carriers in Lititz for the past 5 years. Prior to this, he had worked for the Fairfield Co. as a truck driver for 9 years, and for Motor Trucking, formerly of East Petersburg, as their service manager.

He loved to camp and go fishing, and traveling to the shore, but most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 7 daughters:  Shelley,  married to Jack McCabe of Harrisburg; Lori,  married to Charles Deffibaugh of Lititz; Margaret Myer of Boyertown; Donna, married to Larry Church of Croydon, PA; Diane Elliott of Orange, TX; Dori Lloyd of Bristol, PA; and Debbie, married to James Copeland of Copperas, TX; a son, Donald Lloyd Jr., of Corsicana, TX; a son-in-law, I. Mark Groff of Lititz, 26 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.  Donald is also survived by a brother, George "Buddy"  married to Marian Lloyd of Winterhaven, FL. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Malinda Groff, and by 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the Charles Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m.. Interment in Longeneckers Brethren Cemetery.
