Donald G. Leach, 81, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at LGH. Born in Ardmore, PA he was the son of the late George and Helen (Gruninger) Leach. He was the loving husband of Janet (Moritz) Leach with whom he shared over 59 years of marriage. He was a graduate of Lower Merion High School. Donald was formerly a police officer but more recently worked as a security supervisor for Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed working out and was very passionate about bodybuilding. Donald was a football fan and loved the Philadelphia Eagles. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his beloved wife, Janet and his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Clayton Leach, husband of Claire, of Downingtown, PA, Donald Leach, husband of Julie of Landisville, Brian Leach, husband of Dorothy, of Lincoln University, PA and William Leach, of Collegeville, PA. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, Brian, Jr., Ashley, Emily, Molly, Andrew, Hailey, Ryan, Mary Grace, Matthew, Michael, Jessica, Nathan, Gabe, Lauren and two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Reagan. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Augustus Lutheran Church, 717 W. Main St, Trappe, PA 19426. Interment to follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Ardmore, PA. Family and friends will be received from 9:30-10:30AM at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donald's memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603.
