Donald C. Bachman, 78, of Brethren Village Lancaster, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012.

He was the husband of Barbara Ann Habecker Bachman, with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage this past May.  Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Lester and Sally Bomberger Bachman.

Don had worked as a tool and die maker for the RCA Corporation until his retirement in 1996.

He enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, hiking, and working on projects at their retirement home in Snyder County.

In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by his two daughters: Linda Jean married to Scott W. Minnich of Columbia, and Christine married to John M. Enoch of Lancaster; his three grandsons Kyle, Ryan, and Mark Enoch.  He is also survived by his brother Richard married to Joyce Bachman of Alexandria, VA and by his sister-in-law Beverly Bachman, widow of his deceased brother Glenn.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 3-4PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with the Memorial Service to follow at 4PM, the Rev. Dana Statler officiating.  Interment will be private.
