Donald N. Blefko, 91, formerly of Lancaster, passed away in Manheim on December 11, 2024.

Born in Palmerton, Carbon County, he was the son of the late William and Julia Greene Blefko.

Don had worked as a printer for Feldser Printing for many years. After his retirement, he served as a bailiff at the Lancaster County Courthouse.

He was a US Army veteran, serving as a SP3 from 1955 to 1956 with the Third Infantry Division at Fort Myer, VA, where he served as a Tomb Guard at the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

Don enjoyed playing golf, was a diehard fan of University of Notre Dame football and the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a member of the Cosmopolitan Club and had served as the Exalted Ruler for the Lancaster Elks Lodge #134.

He is survived by his children: Thomas married to Gale Blefko of Hummelstown, Robert married to Jenny Blefko of Olathe, KS, Heather married to Steve Dunbar of Mount Joy, and Michael Blefko partner of Mary Beth Kerbaugh of Ashburn, VA; 7 grandchildren: Chelsea, Kayla, Ryan, Amber, Leah, Sydney, and Cassidy; his great grandson Marcel, and his brother William Blefko of Calabash, NC. He was preceded in death by his siblings Robert, Nancy, and Marie.

Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with the Memorial Service to follow at 10:30AM. The Memorial Service will be livestreamed; please visit this page at 10:25AM to watch the service live. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
