Donald H. Baker Sr., 75, of Lititz, passed away, Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Heart of Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Anna Krentz. Donald was the husband of Patricia A. (Donnelly) Baker with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage this past June.

Donald proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was employed by U.G.I. as a service technician and most recently by Overlook Golf Course. Donald was an avid golfer who has had 3 hole in ones. He loved sports and coached baseball and basketball. Donald's greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife Patricia is a son; Donald H. Baker Jr. husband of Maggie of Lancaster. 2 grandsons; Jordan and Justin Baker. And a brother; Russell Baker husband of Faye of Elizabethtown.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 6, 2009 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 601 E. Delp Rd. Lancaster 17601 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Paul Theisz as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received before the service at the church from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joe New Catholic Cemetery.
