IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donald L.
And Andrea M. Wagner
March 21, 2020
Donald L. Wagner, age 83, passed away on March 21, 2020, just as COVID had shut everything down and Andrea M. Wagner, age 86, passed away on January 24, 2026, after brief battles with cancer. They shared 58 years of marriage filled with love, care and devotion.
Don, an only child, was born on September 30, 1937, in Hegins, PA to Helen Ebert and Marvin Wagner. He graduated from Minersville High School and received his associate's degree from Penn State in drafting and went on to work over 40 years in mechanical design at Gilbert's Associates and later Day & Zimmerman. He enjoyed baseball, bowling, chess, poker and watching the Philly sports teams.
Andrea was born on February 7, 1939, in Shenandoah, PA to Isabel Cantwell and Andrew Lahutsky. She devoted her life to family after working as a Bell Telephone operator and enjoyed sewing, cooking and long phone conversations with her siblings and friends.
Together, they built a life in West Lawn, PA, where they lived for 50 years. Family was most important, especially doting on their only daughter, Linda. They especially enjoyed camping trips to Knoebels and Oak Creek and weekly dinners at Shady Maple.
They are survived by their daughter, Linda Macaulay, grandson, Donald, Andrea's brother Johnny Lahutsky and sister Ann Marie Laurusevage, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and colleagues who will cherish their memory.
A joint service celebrating their lives will be held on February 3, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, at 3:00 PM with Reverend Ted Keating officiating. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be at St. John Kimmel's Church, 1263 Deep Creek Rd, Ashland, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice & Community Care of Lancaster.
