Dolores Ann "Dory" Caulfeild-James, 87, passed away January 1, 2018 at Mennonite Home, Lancaster. She was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Edna (Rathvon) Hagelgans. She was a lifetime Lancaster resident and a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School. She had worked for Ramcliff Supply, Bon Ton Stores and the former Watt & Shand Store. Her loves in life were, reading, gardening and flowers, music and dancing, but mostly her love was always focused on her children and especially grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin P. Caulfeild-James, two brothers; Bobby and J. Thomas Hagelgans, two sisters; Eleanor Cook and Jean Hoffman. She is survived by her two sons; Kevin Robert Caulfeild-James and wife Joan, Willow Street, PA, Jeffrey Paul Caulfeild-James and wife Susan, Pensacola, FL, daughter, Karen Ann Souders and husband Stephen, Lancaster, PA, six grandchildren; Hayley, Lindsey, Kevin, Devon, Dustin, and Ryan, as well as 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12:00pm, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA, 17602. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Lancaster County Public Library, 125 N. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA, 17602.
