Diane A. (deBlois) Schweikert, 72, of Lititz, passed away on Tuesday April 8, 2008 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Edna A.( McMilline)deBlois. Diane was married to James E. Schweikert.
Mrs. Schweikert was employed in Jacksonville Florida and then in Philadelphia as a Registered Nurse. She served in the Air Force. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Surviving besides her husband are four children: Teresa E., married to Barry Hollenbeck of Mayslanding N.J, Linda D.Adkins of Lakeworth Fla, Alicia, married to Timothy of Dorothy N.J, Max Atkins married to Cathlene of E. H. T. N.J, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one sister, Susan A., married to Jack Helmer of Linwood N.J, one brother Charles deBlois of Louisiana, several nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel Inc, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. 17543 on Friday April 11, 2008 from 7 until 9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday April 12, 2008 , St. James Catholic Church 505 Woodcrest Ave. Lititz at 10:30A.M,with Father James O'Blaney as Celebrant, there will be a viewing at the church from 9:30 until the time of the service. Interment will be in St. Peter and St. Paul Cemetery in Springfield PA. In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions in Diane's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Central PA, Suite 101, Old Liberty Square, Harrisburg, PA. 17109.
