Dennis Lee Cantrell, 66, of Millersville, died at Lancaster General Hospital on Saturday, April 16, 2016. He was the husband of Janice Baum Cantrell for 45 years. Born in Asco, WV, Dennis was the son of the late Calvin C. and L. Loretta (Smith) Cantrell.

A 1967 graduate of Pequea Valley High School, Dennis served in the US Navy as an Aviation Structural Mechanic-Safety Equipment 3rd Class with Fighter Squadron One Hundred Three during the Vietnam War. Dennis worked as a millwright for Armstrong World Industries at the Lancaster floor plant before his retirement.

Surviving in addition to his wife Janice, are two sons: Eric L. Cantrell, husband of Sage of Newark, DE and Scott M. Cantrell, husband of Maggie of Landisville; two grandsons: Corbin and Victor; and three siblings: Graling C. Cantrell, husband of Donna of Strasburg, Gale V., wife of William A. Groff of Davenport, FL and Violet L. Horst, wife of the late Curtis of Lancaster. Dennis was preceded in death by his sister Iris F. Montero and nephew Giles R. Cantrell.

Dennis's family will greet friends from 10 to 11 AM, followed by the memorial service at 11 AM, on Saturday April 23, 2016 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N.
