Denise J. (Lefever) Donaldson, 46, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Lester C. Lefever. She is survived by her husband, Robert M. "P.J." Donaldson and mother, Shirley Lefever.

Denise was a member of LCBC Church. She was previously employed as a teacher's aid at St. Anne's Catholic School. She currently worked as an aid in physical support classes at Lancaster-Lebanon IU13.

In addition to her husband and mother, Denise is survived by two daughters: Erinn L. Donaldson and Elizabeth A. Donaldson, both at home; three brothers: Lester C. Lefever of Milwaukee, WI, Fred Lefever of Williamsport, and Brian Lefever of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2009, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Ashley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, April 30, 2009, from 6-9 PM and also on Friday from 10-11 AM. Interment will be private and at the discretion of the family.
