Delmar Lutz, Sr., 89, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on February 2, 2018 at Lancashire Hall. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late George and Ella (Dukeman) Lutz. Delmar was the loving husband of the late Henrietta M. (Simpson) Lutz. He was a welder and machinist by trade, but the ultimate mechanic. He loved building race cars. Delmar enjoyed dancing, deer hunting, deep sea fishing and bowling. He loved listening to all types of music. Delmar is survived by a son, Delmar Lutz, Jr., husband of Renna; daughters: Diane M. Borzok, Drusilla Peters and Delores Steele; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Gene; and a sister, Pat. He is preceded in death by brothers: Chet, Clyde and Earl. A viewing will be from 1:30-2:30 PM with a Funeral Service to begin at 2:30 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Delmar will be laid to rest beside his wife, Henrietta, at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
