Deborah A. Smith, 64, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023.

Born in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Boyd H. and Rosalie A. (Heckman) Custer.

Deb worked as a caregiver at Vineyard Personal Care Home in Lancaster. Some of her interests included going camping, reading, doing crosswords, and collecting ginger jars. She had a love for classic rock music and was a member of the Riverside Association.

Deb is survived by her mom, Rosalie; two sons, Jason L. and Daniel J. Herr; her daughter, Sara A. Herr; siblings, Cindy Dais and Brian Custer; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her father; and husband, Darwin Smith.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Deb on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 beginning at 10AM at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.

The family extends an invitation to join them for a gathering following the service at Lititz Springs Park at the Bortz Pavilion, 18 N. Broad Street, Lititz, PA 17543.

Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
