Dawn M. Murray, 83, of Conestoga, passed away at the Gardens at Stevens, Thursday, April 11, 2024. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Leibhart) Lenox. Dawn was the loving wife of the late James Murray, Sr. who died in 1987.

A 1958 graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School, Dawn worked for more than 30 years for Bulova, formerly Hamilton Watch in Lancaster.

Of the Christian Faith, Dawn loved traveling throughout the United States, having visited all but 6 of the states. She enjoyed going to the casino and babysitting her children's cats, dogs, and goats. But more than anything, her family was most precious to her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Dawn is survived by her two sons: James E., husband of Angie, of Holtwood, and Scott B. Murray, of Conestoga; a grandson, Ryan Murray; a great-granddaughter, Scottlyn; siblings: James C. Lenox, III, husband of Kay, of Lancaster, Susanne H. Stoutzenberger, wife of Ron, of Lancaster, and Mary A. Lenox; and sister-in-law, Diane Lenox. Dawn was preceded in death by her grandson, Scott B. Murray, Jr. and her brother, William P. Lenox.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, 845 Laurel Hill Road, Columbia, PA 17512. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Dawn's memory be made to The Parkinson's Foundation .
