David J. Stauffer, 62, of Millersville, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He was born in Lancaster, PA, to James W. Stauffer Jr. and the late Ellyn (Doty-Hess) Stauffer.

David proudly served his country as a United States Marine from 1979 to 1981, achieving the rank of Lance Corporal (CPL E3). He was a dedicated veteran who served with honor.

In addition to his military service, David had a passion for landscaping. He found joy in tending to the beauty of nature and creating lush, serene environments. David is survived by his siblings, brother Gregory J. Stauffer of Otisfield, Maine, and sister Julie E. Swade of Landisville, PA. He shared a special bond with them, and they will carry on his memory with love and fondness.

David was known as a private person, but those who knew him understood his deep sense of commitment and dedication to the things he cherished most.

A Funeral Service to honor David's life will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 441 N. George Street, Millersville, PA 17551. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Following the service, interment will take place at Salem UCC Hellers Church Cemetery, where David will find his final resting place.
