David McComsey Sr, 92, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital surrounded by family.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late David D and Elizabeth (Pritz) McComsey. David retired from Vietch Printing and was a member of the 8th Ward Club in Lancaster.

He was married to the love of his life, Gloria McComsey, for 70 wonderful years, who he missed so dearly since her passing in 2023.

David loved his summers spent boating, kayaking and fishing with family and friends at Holloway Beach Campground in Maryland. He also enjoyed his trips to the casino with his wonderful neighbor, and watching western movies. Through the years David enjoyed leather working, woodworking, gardening his hot peppers, and listening to his son's band.

He is survived by his three children: David (Linda) McComsey Jr, Bruce (Phyllis) McComsey, Teena (Anthony) Karr; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great- great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law; and many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his beloved wife Gloria, he was preceded in death by his parents, David D and Elizabeth McComsey.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A visitation will take place prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
