David Sainz, 83, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center in Harrisburg. He was the husband of Beth Martin Denlinger Sainz, with whom he shared 38 years of marriage. Born in Staten Island, NY, he was the son of the late Julius and Bessie Muirhead Sainz. David had worked for the American Hardware Co. of New Britain, CT and then worked for over 25 years at Safe Hardware Company of Lancaster, where he was plant manager. He enjoyed using his computer and woodshop projects. He was a graduate of the Porters School of Tool and Design in Connecticut. David was a US Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Lynda married to Kerry Turner and David W. Sainz, both of Tucson, AZ and Sheryl Sainz of AZ; his stepchildren: Keith married to Doreen Denlinger of Lancaster, and Suzanne married to Tom Dyer of Steelton, PA; and by his two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers and 2 grandchildren. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
