David W. Ryan, 65, passed away at Oak Leaf Manor North on Sunday, November 11, 2018. He was born in Phoenix, MD to the late Dorothy (Wheeler) and Harry Ryan. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Communications at the University of Miami, David went on to continue his education at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where he earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration. David was a renowned videographer. He filmed many Super Bowls working as a cameraman for NFL Films and even received an Emmy award for his work. Although his passion allowed him to travel across the country, he could often be found in his home-editing room working on projects. David loved music and was known as "Rockin' Dave" during his time as a DJ in college. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, traveling, and spending time with family. Steamed crab feasts were where the best memories were made. Dave's sense of humor and fun-loving personality will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Dave is survived by his three daughters: Jessica Ryan of Nottingham, PA, Kellan Kernisky, wife of Michael, of Columbia, PA and Kimberly Ryan of Los Angeles, CA; and one grandson, Cole David Kernisky of Columbia. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
