David A. Miller, Sr., 54, died peacefully at his home in Holtwood on Friday, August 24, 2007.  Born in Jersey Shore, PA, he was the son of the late John R. and Pauline Dagitz Miller.

David was formerly employed by Lumsden Corporation as a welder for 12 years.  Prior to that, he worked at Burnham Corp.

He enjoyed driving cars, especially old, vintage vehicles.  He loved his grandchildren, and spending time with his family, friends, and the family pug, Bihney.

David is survived by his children, David A. Miller, Jr., husband of Kristen L., and Susan M. DeMascolo, wife of Gregory M., of Lancaster; and grandchildren, Tia, Rebecca, Matthew, and Tyler; brothers, Harry R. Miller, Sr., husband of Irene V., of Millersville, Kenneth J. Miller, husband of Joan, of Jersey Shore; and sisters, Betty J. Ardabell of Lyndon, and Doris J. Shope.  He was preceded in death by his brother, John R. Miller, Jr.

Services will be private, and at the convenience of the family.  Please omit flowers, memorial contributions in David's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.  Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Lancaster, PA in charge of arrangements.
