David L Little, 74, of New Providence, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at his residence. He was the husband of Martha H. (Walton) Little, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage this past March 9th. Born in Street, MD, he was the son of the late David A. Little and the late Edith L. (Alexander) Girvin. Dave had worked as a truck driver for Hess Mills and Pappetti's until his retirement, and also worked in the construction business for many Lancaster County Companies over the years. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Quarryville. Dave enjoyed collecting antique cars, and had been a member of the Red Rose Car Club and the Lancaster County Cruisers. In addition to his wife Martha, he is survived by his son, Joseph S. married to Ramona Little of Quarryville and his three grandchildren: Foster, Justin and Lauren Little. He is also survived by his sisters Barbara married to Lester McCardle of Willow Street and Bonnie married to Robbie Buterbaugh of Conestoga, and by his brother Hamilton (Jack) Little of New Providence. He was preceded in death by his brother Granville "Skip" Little and his sister Doris Marie. Friends will be received on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 7-9PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA. Friends may call again on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 10-11AM with the Funeral Service to follow at 11AM, the Rev. R. Blake Deibler officiating. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park.
