David "Oldman" Lister, Sr., 58, of Lampeter, PA, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.

He was the husband of Donna Barrett Lister, with whom he celebrated 38 years of marriage this past June 23 ^rd . Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Robert P. and Lillian Johnson Lister.

David was a veteran of the US Navy, serving a career that spanned 20 years. His duty stations included Italy, Iceland and many locations on the eastern seaboard of the United States. He had attained the rank of Photographers Mate First Class at the time of his retirement.

The thing he enjoyed most in his life was spending time with his 5 grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by his two sons: David Jr., married to Annette Lister of Crown Point , IN, and Darrin M. married to Gabby Lister of Linwood, PA; his 4 granddaughters Summer, Morgan, Isabelle, and Caitlyn and his grandson Parker. He is also survived by his 3 sisters: Diane Keeley of Media, PA, Linda Butterworth of Aston, PA, and Laura Jurich of Glen Mills, PA, and by his brother Robert Lister of Aston, PA.
