Obituary

David L. Keating, 74, of Lititz passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Moravian Manor. Born in Oil City, PA he was the son of the late Lawrence L. and Dorthea (Myers) Keating. He was the loving companion of Patricia Jamison of Lititz for 16 years. He was a 1958 graduate of Manheim Twp. High School. David worked as an industrial tool salesman for Sears for over 40 years. He was a car enthusiast and was an original member of the Vagabonds car club where he served as a past president. He had many hobbies including hot rods, boating, fishing and rebuilding tractors. He was a true handyman who could fix just about anything. Dave was a huge sports fan especially of the Eagles, Phillies and Penn State. He also enjoyed golf and more recently, NASCAR. In addition to his loving companion Pat, he is survived by two daughters, Dori Shetter, wife of Keith, and Dana Cunningham, wife of Don, both of Lancaster. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Luke, Anna and Christian Stager as well as a brother, Alan Keating, husband of Ruthann of Manheim. David was preceded in death by his brother, Lawrence. A Celebration of David's Life will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
