David Thomas Griffith, 75, of Lititz, PA passed away peacefully on April 18, 2016 at Golden Living Nursing Home in Reading, PA. He was born in Jamestown, NY to the late Earl G. and June (Halstrom) Griffith. He was a self-employed landscaper, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed minor league baseball and was the Chief of the Eden Volunteer Fire Department. He proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1958 to 1962. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonita "Bonnie" (March) Griffith; son, Timothy Griffith (Kathy); daughter, Lavina Perkins (Ronn); daughter, Pamela Naylor (Greg); six grandchildren: James, William, Hannah, Dylan, Nicholas and Morgan; one brother, Earl G. Griffith (Jane); one sister, Sharon Westerberg. David was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ward Westerberg. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
