David Bennett Graver, 55, of Millersville passed away at home, Friday, February 17 after a long battle against mesothelioma. Born in Lancaster he was the son of Yvonne E. Lefever and Harry B. Graver. He was married 33 years to Frances A. (Broskey) Graver.

David was a Control Room Operator at PPL and worked there 29 years.

He proudly served in the 28th Division Pathfinder Detachment and the 2/231 Field Artillery 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army.

He graduated from Boiling Springs HS in 1974 and in 1999 received a BA from Millersville University.

Dave was an Elder, Sunday school teacher, and a loved and respected Scout leader at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a member of 82nd Airborne Assn and Pequea Valley Sportsman Assn. and  NRA. His greatest love was being a Jump Master at Maytown Sport Parachute Club. "Never Surrender".

Surviving Dave are his sisters; Sabrina, wife of Fred Walters, York; Timna, wife of Jim Fisher, Lancaster and Kanah, wife of Mark Kreider, New Providence, and by his 7 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 6-9PM at Charles F. Snyder Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. The FuneralService will be at 11AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at  Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1136 Sunwood Ln, Lancaster, PA, Bishop David L. Kenley presiding over the service.
