David L. Burton, "Tiggers" 79, of Ephrata, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Ephrata Community Hospital. He was the beloved husband to Lisa (Petrillo), and they shared over 22 years together.

Born to the late Richmond Burton and Mary Alice (Carins), David is survived by his wife Lisa of Ephrata; daughter Mary Elizabeth Hill of Mechanicsville, MD; son Richmond Burton, husband of Misty, of Marion, OH; and stepson T. Patrick Dennen, husband of Samantha, of Neffsville, PA. He was a proud grandfather to Brittany, Ashley, Jessica, Austin, Ashlee, Alexis, Mackenzie, Macie, and Starling, and a great-grandfather to Hanna.

David was a proud veteran, serving in both the US Army and US Navy from 1966 to 1979. He was also a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, where he was known as Baron Tiggers and enjoyed going to Gulf Wars in Mississippi. He also had a passion for historical miniature gaming. He was an avid reader. David enjoyed traveling and rescuing turtles from the road.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Inurnment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
