David H. Bortzfield, 62, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at home.

Born in Lancaster he was the son of Lester W. Bortzfield of Lancaster and the late Marian E. (Brodecker) Bortzfield. He was a graduate of Penn Manor High School and worked for Select Security as a programming specialist. David was a member of Grace Community Church in Willow Street, PA and enjoyed working on computers, radios, police scanners and televisions. He was very well liked by his co-workers at Select Security and was a former member of React International of Lancaster County.

David is survived by his father Lester, an uncle and aunt Richard and Joan Bortzfield of Manheim and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 at 11AM from Grace United Methodist Church Cemetery, 163 W. Frederick St. Millersville, PA 17551.
