Darlene Young

Darlene "Dolly" Young, 88, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully in her residence at Oak Leaf Manor North, Landisville on Monday, April 13, 2026.

Born in Lancaster in 1938, she was the last remaining child of the late David B. and Elsie (Foultz) Young.

Dolly was employed at Armstrong World Industries as an administrative assistant for many years until her retirement.

Above all, she loved and was loved by her family. She greatly cherished any time spent with them.

Surviving Dolly are her nephews, Greg Young; David Long; Michael Long; Jeff Long; and Brian Young. Also surviving are her great-nieces and nephews, and she would've been proud to be a great-great-aunt in July. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Glenn Young, Donna Young, and Dawn "Bunny" Long.

Dolly's family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Oak Leaf Manor North for their care extended during her time there, and to Hospice and Community Care for their support when Dolly needed them most.

Dolly will be laid to rest in her family plot privately in Machpelah Cemetery, Lititz.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dolly may be made to Hospice and Community Care.
