Daniel "Dan" Walko, 66, passed away on March 13, 2025, in Lancaster, PA surrounded by family. He was born in Greensburg, PA, and moved to the Lancaster area in 1990. Dan was the loving husband to Peggy (Harrold) Walko of Mount Joy.

In addition to his wife, Dan is survived by three daughters: Diane Walko of Mount Joy, PA, Heather (Walko) Kitting (wife of Brandon) of Mount Joy, PA, and Melissa Wilson of Saint Paul, MN; four grandsons: Aiden Kitting, Zane Kitting, Sean Wilson Ranck, and Colin Wilson Ranck; and his dog, Sophie. He is also survived by extended family in western PA.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, and bowling, and he was a huge Pittsburgh sports fan. Dan also found enjoyment in riding his motorcycle. His most favorite thing to do was hang out with his children and grandchildren – he was very proud of them all.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents: Lillian (Yates) and George Walko; a son, Brandon Wilson; his dog favorite dog, Roxie; and his granddog, Yamaha.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
