Daniel Stephen Horvath, 44, of Lancaster, passed away suddenly, of natural causes, Thursday, March 6, 2025, while in Cancun, Mexico. Born in Norristown, he was the son of Stephen Horvath and the late Donna (Horn) Horvath. Dan was the husband of Amber (Shearer) Horvath, with whom he celebrated 21 years of marriage.

Of the Christian Faith, Dan was a member of Lancaster Christian Alliance Church, Lancaster. Daniel earned his Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University, Berks Campus in 2003. He was the Vice President of IT Applications for Exelon, which later became Constellation Energy.

Never one to sit still, Dan enjoyed outdoor life, including hunting, fishing, and deep sea fishing. More than anything, he loved his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, and friend.

In addition to his father and wife, he is also survived by his children: Victoria G. "Tori" Horvath and Daniel J. Horvath; a sister, Jessica Cox, and brother-in-law, David Hunter Shearer, husband of Deb.

Family and friends will be received for a viewing from 11AM to 1PM, Saturday, March 15, at Lancaster Alliance Church, 210 Pitney Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601. A Funeral Service will follow at 1PM. Dan will be laid to rest at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, 58 Church Rd., Manheim.
