Daniel V. Eddy, 35, passed away suddenly, of natural causes, on Friday, March 25, 2016. Born in Johnson City, NY, he was the son of Mary (Hauber) Eddy and the late David A. Eddy. Known as the "Gentle Giant," Daniel was of the Catholic Faith and had a deep love for his mother and aunts. After moving to Lancaster from upstate Pennsylvania, Daniel enjoyed his new-found freedom and loved exploring Lancaster. Always with a smile, Daniel loved to help others. He was an avid reader of science fiction, enjoyed all types of music, collected comic books and baseball cards, and enjoyed spending time playing video games. In addition to his mother, Mary, Daniel is survived by his aunts, Dorothy and Patricia Hauber, both of Harleysville, and his Honorary Aunt, Jacqueline Scully-Clark, of New Jersey. He is also survived by his paternal aunts, uncles, and cousins. No services will be held.
