Daniel Joe "Danny" Hess, 54, of Lititz, PA passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, PA he was a son of the late James E. and Erma Y. (Demmy) Hess.

Danny enjoyed watching WWE wrestling, horseback riding with his Community Services Group family. He attended the Exentia day program and enjoyed the coffee houses, never met a stranger and always wanted to shake your hand. He always used the word "cupcake" affectionately towards those he was fond of. Danny had a huge heart and always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his brother James D. "Jamie" Hess of Landisville, PA; a nephew Zachary Hess of Landisville, PA; two nieces Ashley Hess of Florida and Melissa wife of Jeffrey Griffen of Pittsburgh, PA; a special Aunt Annette Pattishall of New Tripoli, PA and a special Uncle Fred Hess of Lancaster, PA. He was preceded in death by a brother Steven Hess.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 7PM from the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Private interment will be held at the convenience of his family. A viewing will be held from 6-7pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
