Dale H. Schairer, 93, of Lititz, PA (formerly of Birmingham, MI), passed away on April 1, 2023. Dale was born in Chelsea, MI to the late Herbert and Mary Schairer. Dale graduated from Michigan State University where he earned his Master's Degree in Agricultural Mechanics. He was employed by Ford Tractor where he worked as a Service Engineer for over 30 years, retiring in 1989.

Dale was an active member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Bloomfield Hills, MI. He served in many roles on church council and the Property Committee. He was an active volunteer at the Troy Museum, and Greenfield Village. He was a member of the Birmingham Men's Club and the Olde Engine Club. He spent countless hours in his workshop where he made toys and furniture for family and friends. Dale and Janet tended their garden where they grew vegetables and flowers.

Dale is survived by his wife of 66 years Janet A. Schairer of Lititz, PA (formerly of Birmingham, MI); children, Denise (Pat) Adams of Bellaire, TX, Linda (Frank) Gaber of Peoria, AZ and David (Beth) Schairer of Lititz, PA; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Paul Schairer of Fort Collins, CO and sister-in-law, Wilma Schairer of Saline, MI as well as many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Mary.

There will be a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church – Property Fund or Brethren Village Good Samaritan Fund.
