Dale G. Hersh, Sr., 74, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Gertrude A. Hersh. Dale was the loving husband of Priscilla (Shreiner) Hersh. Dale retired from Lancaster Malleable Castings Co. after 47 years, where he was a dedicated operator who had 10 years of perfect attendance. He was an avid and dedicated sports fan, proudly cheering on his favorite teams, the L.A. Kings, L.A. Dodgers, St. Louis Rams, and Penn State. He loved to travel and spend time with his wife. Dale adored his grand and great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Dale is survived by his three children; Dale G. Hersh, Jr., of Mount Joy, Danna L. Miller, of Lancaster, and Darren E. Hersh, husband of Tatiana, of Sterling, Virginia. He was affectionately known as "Pop" to his four grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda, Alana, Niklas, and 2 great grandchildren Arianna and Gabriel. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
