Obituary

Dale L. Fetter, 84, of Lititz, PA, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Manheim, PA, to the late Helen Fetter, Dale dedicated much of his life to a career in pattern making for Trojan Yacht. With a mind full of ingenuity, he crafted countless one-of-a-kind tools that helped engineers maintain vessels they worked on.

In 1960, Dale married the love of his life, Millie, and together they shared a beautiful 64 years of love and devotion. A true family man, Dale was a deeply involved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was always present, always supportive, and always leading by example.

Dale was also a man of strong faith and service, a longtime and devoted member of Brunnerville United Methodist Church. He volunteered tirelessly over the years, holding nearly every position in the church—everything, except for pastor and choir leader.

Beyond his dedication to work, family, and faith, Dale was an avid hunter, and among his proudest moments was hunting and mounting a bear. He was also passionate about motorcycles, riding with his friends in the Happy Pappy's and Retreads motorcycle groups.

Dale is survived by his beloved wife, Mildred "Millie" Fetter; his daughter, Debbie Adams, wife of Doug; and his cherished grandson, Nate Adams. He is also survived by his siblings Pat Peters, Tom Fetter, and Kathy Miller; his nephew Jeff Simmons; and many hunting buddies and lifelong friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Fetter, and his sister, Mary Weaver.

Family and friends are invited to an evening viewing on Monday, April 21, from 6 to 7:30 PM at Spacht-Snyder Funeral Home 127 S Broad St, Lititz. A funeral service will be held the following day, Tuesday, April 22, at 11AM at Brunnerville United Methodist Church 517 Pine Hill Rd, Lititz. A viewing will be held at the church prior to the service from 10 to 11AM. Interment will follow the service at Brunnerville U.M. Cemetery. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the teams at Ephrata Manor and Hospice & Community Care for their compassion and support during Dale's final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dale's name may be made to Hospice & Community Care at www.hospiceandcommunitycare.org or Brunnerville United Methodist Church.
