Dale E. Beaner, 66 of Manheim passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Clifford Beaner and Dorothy (Snavely) Beaner. He was married to Frances L. (McLaughlin) for over 5 years. He graduated from DeVry University in Chicago with a Technical diploma and was employed as a senior boiler inspector for Cincinnati Insurance Co. for over 25 years. Dale proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he received a Bronze Star medal. He was a motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. Dale was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Jason Beaner husband of Sarah of Elizabethtown, step-son, Eric Leese husband of Elizabeth of Landisville, and three grandchildren, Cali, Andrew and Madeleine. Also surviving are two brothers, Larry Beaner of AZ, Wayne Beaner husband of Vickie of Lancaster and a sister, Eileen Jacquith wife of Phil of Lancaster. A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A viewing will be held from 6-8PM on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz and again one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dale's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr, Lancaster, PA 17603.
