Daisy M. Patterson, 100, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday August 22, 2025, at Lakeside at Willow Valley, Willow Street, PA. Born in Pittsburgh, PA she was the daughter of the late Reverend John Elvin and Ella Irene (Nicholls) Zuch.

She served as a manager and designer for over 30 years and was instrumental in the development and designing of many of these complexes. Daisy was raised in the Primitive Methodist faith, but later in life, spent many years in the Baptist church leading women's bible studies at her home and teaching Sunday School classes.

Surviving are her children, Sandra L. Walters, wife of the late James of Nicholson, PA, Richard D. Gorba, husband of Diane of Morgantown, PA, and Robert A. Gorba, husband of Sharon of Minersville, PA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Daisy was preceded in death by her beloved husband John "Jack" E. McAboy, whose selfless, loving impact on Daisy and the rest of her family will always be cherished.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Interment will be private. Family and friends will be received from 1-2PM at the funeral home on Wednesday.
