Dahiben Patel, 96, of Manheim Township, Lancaster, PA, passed away June 4, 2023, at the age of 96. She was born in India February 5, 1927 and was the daughter of Madhabhai and Javerben Patel.

Dahiben Patel grew to become a woman who enjoyed many things in life. She was a great homemaker who lived in the US for 36 years with her sons in Lancaster, Florida and California. She attended Jalaram Mandir and was very adamant about reading religious books, especially in her native language.

Traveling and staying up to date on current world news were among some of her favorite things to do. But above all else, her ultimate favorite past time was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She treasured her family, and it made her happy to be around them.

Dahiben Patel leaves to cherish her memory her five sons: Dr. Harshadkumar (Sudahaben) Patel of Lancaster, Madhusudan B. Patel, of London, England, Girishchandra (Kalpana) Patel, of Canada, Yogendra (Jayshree) Patel, of California, and Bhasker (Bharti) Patel, of Florida, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Induben Patel, and her grandson Vijay Patel.
