Cynthia Marie "Cindy" Sahd, 75, of Lititz passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Thelma E. (Duus) Leary. She was the loving and devoted wife of David Sahd with whom she shared over 55 years of marriage.

Cindy was a 1968 graduate of Hempfield High School. She was a faithful servant of God and nurturing mother. She guided her family with love, patience, and unwavering faith. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart touched many, and her memory will forever be a blessing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her 6 children: Matthew Sahd, husband of Corianne of Lancaster, PA, Stephanie Fonticoba, wife of William of Dover, PA, Elena Acker, wife of Matthew of Columbia, PA, Therese Wicht, wife of Jason of Lititz, PA, Catherine Zeager, wife of Eric of Lancaster, PA and Maria Hall, wife of Chris of Columbia, PA. She was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to 39 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Leary, husband of Lisa of Lancaster, PA, and sister, Suzanne Parmer, wife of Don of Columbia, PA. She was preceded in death by her brother, Terrence Leary, husband of Brenda.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA. Family and friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church before Mass. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's New Catholic Cemetery.
