Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Menelaous Diamantoni and Elene (Argires) Diamantoni. As a young girl Connie moved to Lancaster to live with her older sisters Lucille and Gertie. While in Lancaster, she met her future husband Thomas at Maple Grove Swimming Pool. She and Tom celebrated 63 years of marriage before his passing in 2012.

Connie was a life-long member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church where she served as a member of the Daughters of Penelope. She also served as past president of the Philoptochos Society and selflessly volunteered each year at the annual Greek Bazaar. Connie was still an avid bridge player and member of multiple bridge clubs. She was a member of the Silver Threads.

Connie touched many lives with her kind words and sincerity. She always put others before herself and had a knack for making people feel special. Connie's family was her life and she enjoyed spending time with them all.
