Coleen Patricia Walter, 42, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, June 27, 2006, at her residence.

Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, she was the daughter of Michael and Carmel Walter of Milford, N.J.

Coleen was a freelance writer and loved poetry. She was an aerobics instructor for many years. She loved to help people and would sponsor two children from a third world country every year.  She was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving in addition to her parents are a daughter, Eileen Ellen Walter of Milford; a brother, Daniel Michael Walter, husband of Beth Peterson-Walter of Somerville; and a nephew, Liam Walter of Somerville.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
